**Post updated to reflect the new Grapefruit Vitality oil
There are likely many more than 10 ways to use Young Living’s Grapefruit Essential Oil, but I wanted to tell you about some of my favorite uses. Grapefruit essential oil is high in precious Limonene consisting of 88-95% in fact. As with any of the citrus oils, use caution when planning to be in the sun as it may cause photosensitivity.
Ways to Use Grapefruit Essential Oil
Grapefruit is a popular fruit used in weight loss protocols. I’m sure you’ve even heard of the grapefruit “fad” diet, its been used for a long time to support normal weight loss. It is also a great flavor enhancer. Grapefruit essential oil can help produce satiety. I like to add it to my beverages to give it an extra zing too.
Ingesting essential oils is a choice that you can make, but definitely do your research and only use a therapeutic, pure grade essential oil, like Young Living.
Young Living has a new Vitality Grapefruit oil which is the same great essential oil but with new easy to recognize labeling for supplemental use. (See graphic above for some ways to use both types).
Grapefruit essential oil is also mood enhancing and can help with occasional sadness and anxiousness brought on by everyday woes. Diffusing grapefruit is very uplifting and mood lifting. There are many research studies out there on the benefits of Grapefruit essential oil. I encourage you to do a search of your own to learn even more.I absolutely love diffusing grapefruit essential oil with other favorites. The combinations help to relax and lift spirits around my home.
