What is Cardamom Essential Oil Good For?

What is Cardamom good for anyway?

Cardamom (Ellettaria cardamomum) historically was used in the Middle Ages by Indian healers and was nicknamed “Grains of Paradise”. It was considered to be a valuable spice in Ancient Greece and Rome and was use by the king. It is mentioned in one of the oldest known medical documentations the Ebers Papyrus (approximately 16th century BC) this is an ancient Egyptian list of 877 prescriptions and recipes.

Cardamom essential oil has some key chemical constituents: Eucalyptol and Alpha-Terpinyl acetate. See David Stewart’s book called The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple for more details on how these components make the essential oil beneficial.
Young Living offers both Cardamom Vitality for internal consumption and the regular variety for topical and aromatic use.

Cardamom Vitality is terrific for digestive support. Try it combined in a capsule with DiGize for gastrointestinal  efficiency. You can find this taste traditionally in the kitchen of Swedish cooks, particularly found within sweet and savory dishes.  Add a drop of Cardamom to you hot tea for a unique flavor.

Try the traditional Cardamom essential oil topically or in your diffuser. You will find this spicy aroma both uplifting and stimulating to all the senses, truly a refreshing experience. Diffuse Cardamom to energize and refresh the mind.

Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) essential oil is a member of the ginger family of botanical plants. Cardamom has historical uses that include internal consumption to protect the stomach and inhalation to invigorate the mind. Cardamom has also been used traditionally to support mental fatigue and nervous strain.

How do you use Cardamom?

I just received this essential oil and I am looking forward to adding it to my rotation as I feel necessary! If you don’t own Cardamom you can get the benefits from the blends Transformation and Clarity where it can also be found!

Try Cardamom here only from Young Living!

Expanding Vitality Essential Oil Collection

The expanding Vitality essential oil collection is exciting for Young Living! The Vitality Line began with just 24 oils and is now up to 44 oils.

The Vitality Line is Young Living’s dietary supplement and cooking essential oil line. They are easily recognizable with the white labels. These oils are the exact same as the regular oils with the same name except they are designated as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) for internal use.  Not all oil brands are safe, I trust my oils exclusively to Young Living because of their Seed to Seal guarantee of purity. Only the best for my family!
