I get asked a lot what my favorite sleepy time essential oils are. I have several that I tend to turn to when the sun goes down. Do you find when it is time for bed you just can’t settle down the kids or settle your own thoughts? Yes, this happens to me quite often with the busyness of daily routines being a wife and mother to 3 boys, working from home (I love that Young Living allows me to do that) and I still pursue some responsibilities surrounding my nurse practitioner license. At any rate, I do enjoy settling in with my favorite essential oils and often my diffuser right by my bed on the nightstand.
Top Favorites to Diffuse at Bedtime
Lavender essential oil and most anything with Lavender in it is high on my sleepy time oil list. Lavender is relaxing and soothing and helps to promote a restful night of sleep. It goes well blended with so many oils too.
Cedarwood is a top favorite. This one had to grow on me, so you might find that to be the case for you too. I love the woodsy aroma now and it helps me to relax for sure. This one is also supportive to the skin structures.
Dream Catcher is a blend of oils designed to envelope positive dreams while allowing you to stay on your path to your targets and goals.
RutaVaLa essential oil is a nice and calming blend that has Ruta, Lavender and Valerian essential oils.
Gentle Baby is a favorite I like to use with the kiddos to help them unwind with its soothing combination of several Young Living favorites. Great for mamas too.
Peace & Calming is long time favorite and the name really does say it all. Peace & Calming blends Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Blue Tansy, Orange and Patchouli together. Now there is an alternative variety when this fan favorite is seasonally out of stock you can now try Peace & Calming II.
Stress Away is a blend of Vanilla, Lime, Copaiba, Cedarwood, Ocotea, & Lavender this one is not just for sleepy time but for anytime you want to relax and help ease the stress going on in your day. (You can put this one into a capsule or choose the Stress Away roller ball variety).
