Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Ylang Ylang essential oil is truly one of my favorites and I have mentioned it often but this is the first time I’m dedicating a post just to Ylang Ylang! This beautiful flower comes from the Cananga tree, found in Ecuador. This beautiful flower was traditionally used to bless a newly married couple by  spreading the flowers all over the marriage bed.

Why Ylang Ylang is So Great

This essential oil is truly soothing and calming to me, I personally notice my moods even out. This is one I for sure use often especially during hormone fluctuating times of the month. It is uniquely calming and euphoric. This oil is truly supporting to the body and mind. It doesn’t hurt in the intimacy department either, ladies!

This essential oil can enhance sensuality, restore confidence, promote healthy libido  and is balancing to the male and female energies. Ylang Ylang can help with spiritual atunement and connection and help to restore peace. It can help to combat anger, frustration and filter out negative emotion, while helping with focus. Oh and it can help support great looking hair too.

How to Use Ylang Ylang

My favorite use for Ylang Ylang is wearing it on a piece of diffuser jewelry such as a necklace or earrings. You can inhale directly from the bottle too or add to your diffuser.

Ylang Ylang in the Bedroom

This may be a great selection to help enhance intimacy in the bedroom between you and your beloved. Diffuse it to enhance the mood and vibe in the bedroom. Use Ylang Ylang in a sensual massage mixed with Sensation massage oil.  Apply to the inner thighs or sensitive areas as desired. Enhance relaxation, desire and mood.
